Dear Diary...

Been away for the last 3 days... Dr made me do more tests to see if my eyes and kidneys have been somewhat damaged...

Yes my friends, confirmed a diabetic...

Had already known it would come but never expected it so soon... it runs in the family... dad's genes am afraid...

Dr says am all clear at the moment... will need to look into balancing my diet - medication - exercise regime starting now....

Meeting with another Dr friend on the coming Monday to get her advise on the matter...

Am happy to have a great group of friends who I know will be there to support me in my difficult times... you know who you are... love you guys...
